  • Registration : Once you register with Keen Learners your email address is stored on our databases. In addition, we require the following data at a minimum to complete the registration with our service;
    • Your full name
    • Your phone number
    • Your physical address including postcode and town of residence
    • An emergency contact number and name

 

  • Further information about your children is also required;
    • Their full name
    • Current school including their exam board, predicted/target grades.
    • Year group
    • Any medical condition
  • For a tutor, we optionally store the following further personal information, these data items include;
    • Full name
    • Physical residential address
    • Subjects the tutor teaches, including their rates per hour.
    • The tutors’ gender, personal statement, qualifications and experience
    • Photo identification (accepted documents are either a passport or driving license)
    • A DBS document
    • Contact Details of at least two references, with the referee responses to our questionnaire
    • Profile photos
    • Payment details
    • Subjects and level you wish to be taught

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Email Addresses & Phone Numbers

We take email privacy very seriously with users of our website. Any Email address the user supplies when signing up, are not sold to 3rd parties for marketing purposes. This includes any personal information we may obtain from emails we receive through our contact us form.

Payment Processors

We use a 3rd party payment provider to process payments for our service. We do not store our users’ financial information by default, only if our users opt in will we securely retain it for future purchases. We use Stripe for our payment processing, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy.
